Job Title: Senior Manager Strategic Sourcing

Overview: Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager of IT Procurement to join the team. As the Senior Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing the procurement process for all IT-related goods and services. You will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies, negotiating contracts with vendors, and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality products and services to support the organization's IT needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing procurement strategies to meet the organization's IT requirements while maximizing cost savings and efficiency
- Identifying and evaluating potential vendors, negotiating contracts, and establishing strong relationships to ensure favorable terms and conditions
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders, including IT, finance, and legal teams, to understand business requirements and align procurement activities with organizational goals
- Monitoring and managing vendor performance, including service level agreements (SLAs), to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and quality standards
- Conducting market research and stay informed about industry trends and best practices to drive continuous improvement in procurement processes
- Leading cross-functional teams and participating in strategic initiatives to support the company's overall business objectives
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field; an advanced degree preferred
- 5 years minimum of experience in IT procurement or a similar role, preferably in a technology-driven organization
- Strong understanding of procurement processes, contract management, and vendor relationship management
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- Proven track record of driving cost savings, process improvements, and operational efficiencies
- Knowledge of IT products and services, including hardware, software, cloud services, and telecommunications
- Proficiency in procurement software and tools, such as SAP Ariba, Coupa, or similar platforms
- Certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CPSM, CSCP) is a plus
