We are excited to announce an opportunity for the role of Senior Procurement Manager IT with our client, one of Germany's leading media companies. The successful candidate will be based out of offices located in the heart of Munich on a hybrid basis and play a key part in managing procurement activities across multiple business units.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies that optimize procurement processes
- Manage supplier relationships while ensuring high-quality service delivery
- Oversee purchasing agreements to ensure compliance with company policies
- Collaborate cross-functionally within different teams such as Finance, Legal, etc., when required.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should possess:
- At least 6 years' experience working on strategic sourcing/procurement functions related specifically to Information Technology (IT) products or services;
- Bachelor's degree preferably from supply chain management field or other relevant fields; MBA is desirable but not mandatory ;
- Demonstrated ability negotiating contracts resulting cost savings without compromising quality standards ;
- Experience overseeing large-scale projects involving complex vendor ecosystems
Fluency in both Germand and English is required for this position.
