Title: Job Title: Senior Procurement Specialist
Introduction:
DSJ Global is seeking a Senior Procurement Specialist for a global pharmaceutical company in Ireland. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of procurement related business processes, strategic sourcing experience, and experience in the pharmaceutical industry. The Senior Procurement Specialist will be part of a Regional team responsible for stakeholder management related to Indirect Sourcing Categories and Operations across divisions, category management, strategic sourcing, and managing costs.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies
- Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Manage procurement processes and ensure compliance with policies and regulations
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities
- Manage supplier contracts and relationships
- Implement sourcing strategies to support business objectives
- Manage procurement budgets and negotiate with suppliers to achieve cost savings
- Develop and maintain procurement policies and procedures
- Monitor supplier performance and manage supplier risk
Required Skills:
- Strong understanding of procurement related business processes
- Strategic sourcing experience
- Experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with a strong understanding of regulatory filing requirements
- Experience working with sourcing tools including eSourcing/eAuction platforms, Spend Analytics, Risk Mitigation, SRM/SPM, Contract Management and P2P platforms
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
