Job Title: Senior Project Manager (Fiber Engineering)
Summary: Reporting to the Director of Engineering, the Senior Project Manager will oversee multiple Capital and productivity projects, focusing on process improvement and operational excellence within manufacturing facilities in North America.
Responsibilities:
- Lead organizational integration, capital equipment procurement, and standardized roles for the MDF door skin division.
- Plan and manage procurement processes to ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery of equipment and services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and manage program plans and allocate resources effectively.
- Implement Lean Six Sigma and SQDCI methodologies into programs and projects.
- Provide leadership to cross-functional teams and collaborate with senior leaders across multiple locations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in relevant Engineering discipline required.
- 5-10 years of experience in plant/process engineering, preferably in the wood products industry.
- Strong multi-project management skills with experience in significant-scale project execution.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoDesk AutoCAD, and/or Inventor.
- Ability to travel 30-40% as needed.
