My client are a multinational Pharma/Healthcare organisation leading pharmaceutical distribution, providing efficient and reliable delivery of healthcare products to pharmacies, hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare facilities. They are currently hiring for a Senior Warehouse Operations Specialist based in Hong Kong to enhance and optimize warehouse operations/systems to ensure efficient and compliant storage and distribution of pharmaceutical products. You will be responsible for managing projects related to warehouse automation and process improvement, while ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Warehouse Systems Management:
Oversee the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of the warehouse management system (WMS) and related technologies.
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate necessary upgrades or enhancements to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Ensure data integrity by overseeing regular system backups, security protocols, and disaster recovery plans.
Collaborate with IT teams and vendors to resolve technical issues and implement system integrations with other enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, CRM).

Process Optimization:
Identify areas for process improvement within the warehouse operations, such as order fulfillment, inventory management, and cycle counting.
Develop and implement best practices and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to streamline workflows and maximize productivity.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including logistics, procurement, and quality assurance, to optimize end-to-end supply chain processes.
Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, DEA) and internal quality standards.

Inventory Management:
Implement inventory control processes to maintain accurate inventory levels, minimize stockouts, and prevent product expiration or obsolescence.
Coordinate regular cycle counts, stock reconciliations, and audits to ensure inventory accuracy and identify discrepancies or variances.
Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to forecast demand, plan inventory replenishment, and manage vendor relationships.
Monitor and analyze inventory metrics, such as stock turnover, carrying costs, and lead times, to identify opportunities for improvement.

Quality Assurance and Compliance:
Ensure adherence to Good Distribution Practices (GDP) and other relevant quality and regulatory standards within the warehouse operations.
Develop and maintain quality control processes to verify product integrity, monitor temperature and humidity conditions, and prevent product contamination.
Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and address non-compliance issues, implement corrective actions, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as quality assurance, regulatory affairs, and operations, to implement and maintain quality management systems.
