What Will You Do?
- Utilize SAP transactions and tools comprehensively to monitor employee throughput and productivity, ensuring timely order fulfillment for customers and production requirements.
- Conduct performance evaluations for assigned employees, including behavior observation, performance measurement, and providing constructive feedback and guidance on developmental goals.
- Exemplify leadership expectations by maintaining a positive attitude, professionalism in appearance and demeanor, fostering creativity, productivity, quality, punctuality, and safety consciousness.
- Actively participate in investigating and implementing approved ideas from team members to enhance operational efficiency.
- Ensure the development and implementation of Standard Work procedures within their area of responsibility.
- Cultivate positive relationships with customers, clients, supervisors, and colleagues through consistent positive behavior and effective communication.
What Will You Need?
- Relevant warehouse and shipping experience coupled with a demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and enhancement.
- A high school diploma (or equivalent) or pertinent experience in production order and warehousing operations.
- An understanding of business fundamentals acquired through either a business-related degree or equivalent experience.
- Exhibit proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word applications.
- Showcase outstanding communication abilities, both verbal and written, in various contexts such as in-person, over the telephone, and through written correspondence.
- Maintain a commendable work history characterized by self-motivation, sound judgment, productivity, and a commitment to safety.
Work Environment
- Environment: Operates within the manufacturing plant's indoor setting, subject to fluctuating temperatures, humidity levels, noise, and dirt.
- Physical Risks: Navigates through hazards including powered vehicles, bicycles, and pedestrian traffic, alongside exposure to sharp objects and moving machinery.
- Handling Hazardous Materials: Works with a variety of hazardous substances such as oils, grease, paint, solvents, coolant, pressurized gases, acids, caustics, cleaners, and metals.
- Flexible Schedule: Adapts to a variable work schedule, with hours adjusted according to job requirements.
- Dynamic Work Environment: Faces rapidly changing workloads and priorities, managing multiple requests from various individuals and departments, often with conflicting deadlines.
- Extended Work Hours: May be required to work shifts lasting up to 12 hours, with additional Saturday shifts being commonplace.
