DSJ Global are searching for a Supply Chain Manager to come in, and establish a central supply chain function across this client's multiple business units. With investment backing from a parent organization with an enviable track-record in the market, this organisation has grown from strength-to-strength acquiring multiple entities across Europe and the USA. The right candidate will have a passion for change management, bringing together these multiple 'local businesses' to grow a more 'mature', 'synergised' organisation - rolling out group-wide processes and best practices.
Responsibilities
- Define and roll-out a Global Supply Chain strategy across the existing entities.
- Form a central, group-wide supply chain function, establishing best practices across planning, procurement/sourcing, inventory management and logistics/transportation
- Lead the business through consolidation of multiple tools/systems (e.g. ERP Systems), ensuring definition and adoptions is optimized from a supply chain perspective
- Drive performance through development of new KPI Dashboards across the entire supply chain network, using these to achieve operational excellence
- Change Management: Create and optimize processes across all the international location, ensuring successful adoption and long-term implementation by working together with the local entities
- Optimize the group sourcing strategy, overseeing supplier performance, contract negotiation and supplier relationship management
- Increase cross-functional visibility and collaboration to drive performance improvements across lead time, cost, on-time delivery etc
Skills/Experience Required
- Experience overseeing the end-to-end supply chain, including Supply Planning, Procurement, Inventory Management and Logistics
- Ability to work on-site
- Fluency in English is required
- Ability to manage international teams, fostering a global supply chain culture across multiple locations (which have traditionally worked separately)
- Passion for change management: Able to clearly articulate strategic vision to both junior and senior stakeholders across different business functions
- Capable of working in a technical/engineering environment (experience in high-mix manufacturing environments could be beneficial)
