Summary: Utilities Engineer needed to join a global biopharma company based in PA.
My client is a pharmaceutical company with operations in the research, development, manufacturing, and marketing of pharmaceuticals, vaccines, and consumer healthcare products. They focus in the development and production of prescription medicines, vaccines, and over-the-counter healthcare products.
This role will work with the project team, global engineering, and the maintenance team to implement the maintenance program for the utilities systems for the drug substance facility. Utilities systems include clean utilities (WFI, Purified water, clean compressed air, nitrogen, etc.), black utilities (steam, domestic hot and cold water, chilled water, fire protection, etc.), and associated chemical treatment systems.
Responsibilities:
- Document the user requirements for utilities systems and sequences of operation for automated utilities systems.
- Perform risk assessments for utilities systems to ensure safe installation, operation, and maintenance of utilities systems and equipment.
- Oversee the installation, commissioning, and qualification of utilities systems.
- Document maintenance plans and spare parts requirements for utilities systems.
- Meet GMP regulations.
Qualifications:
- BS in Engineering required.
- 5+ years' experience in utilities engineering for GMP manufacturing required.
